Community Outreach
Living our faith through service to the people of Roblin and the Parkland region
Our Impact
At Sacred Heart Church, faith is not confined to the walls of our church — it is lived out in the streets, homes, and gathering places of Roblin and beyond. Guided by Catholic social teaching and the example of Jesus Christ, our parishioners actively serve the community through a variety of outreach programs and initiatives.
From visiting homebound parishioners and supporting families in times of crisis, to hosting community meals and nurturing the faith of young people, Sacred Heart Church is committed to being a visible sign of God's love in the Parkland region. Our outreach efforts are carried out by dedicated volunteers who give generously of their time, talents, and hearts.
Our Programs
Hands-on ministry that makes a real difference in our community
Visiting Ministry
Our dedicated team of volunteers regularly visits homebound parishioners, residents of local care facilities, and those in hospital. Through prayer, conversation, and the sharing of Holy Communion, we ensure that no member of our parish family is forgotten or alone. This ministry is a powerful expression of Christ's command to care for the sick and elderly.
Community Meals & Fellowship
Sacred Heart Church hosts regular parish suppers, potluck dinners, and community gatherings that bring together parishioners and neighbours in a spirit of hospitality and friendship. These events strengthen the bonds of community, provide nutritious meals, and create opportunities for meaningful connection across generations.
Youth & Family Programs
Investing in the next generation is a priority at Sacred Heart Church. Through religious education classes, youth group activities, and family-centred events, we engage children and families in the life of the parish. Our programs are designed to foster faith, build character, and create lasting memories for young Catholics in the Roblin area.

Social Justice & Advocacy
Guided by the principles of Catholic social teaching — the dignity of every human person, the common good, solidarity, and a preferential option for the poor — Sacred Heart Church is committed to advocating for justice and compassion in our community and in the world.
Our parish supports local and national initiatives that address poverty, food insecurity, and social inequality. We believe that every act of kindness, no matter how small, contributes to the building of a more just and loving society. Parishioners are encouraged to participate in seasonal drives, awareness campaigns, and volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
